- How to install drywall?
Installing sheets of drywall is a job which requires strength and precision. The average drywall sheet weighs around 50 lbs, and they are large and awkward. To properly install one of these sheets it will need to be the right size to fit the wall, then held in place. Once it is positioned in place it will need to be screwed onto the studs in the wall. - How to tape drywall?
Applying tape to drywall is truly an art form that takes years to perfect. The tape is used to cover the cracks in between the sheets of drywall. In order to attain a smooth finish the tape must be applied as evenly and as uniformly as possible. Failing to do so will result in very obvious defects on the finished surface. Once the tape is properly applied it will then be mudded and sanded multiple times. Taping and mudding is the most crucial aspect of drywall finishing, it is wise to leave this part to the professionals.
